Alan introduced me to wargaming, including battlefield recreations and to science fiction books, specifically all the works of Isaac Asimov. I borrowed "second foundation" off him in the early 1980's, forgot i had it and only recently offered to return it. he also introduced me cassette music at a time when I was scratching all my lp's on a dreadful turntable.
More recently he introduced me to a gentlemans aftershave that his dad used. I will buy it once furlough has stopped. Finally he and i shared a love for chocolate. we have both been in a chocolate tasting club and I've been sending him some bars to help him through life.
RIP cousin Alan.
